DPRK Will Punish Hostile Forces: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- The U.S. and its allies that endorsed the UN Security Council's "Resolution" 2087, which found fault with the DPRK's peaceful satellite launch, responded to the DPRK's declaration of an all-out action with a fiery rhetoric that the DPRK's countermeasure is "provocative" and "the north should be made to right its option".

Rodong Sinmun Thursday says that they regard the peaceful satellite launch, an option of every country, as a crime out of their hostile stand, in fear of the rising dignity and might of Songun Korea. But the DPRK will not be frightened by their rhetoric nor change its option.

The U.S. crudely violates international law and the UN Charter and resorts to high-handed and arbitrary practices when it sees that they are not in its favor. Still it abuses the UN Security Council's function and forcibly creates unreasonable "resolutions" when it is set to take issue with others. It is the U.S. inveterate bad habit.

Typical examples are the UN Security Council's "Resolutions" 1718, 1874 and 2087.

They were a product of the U.S. hostile policy aimed to force the DPRK to disarm itself, and topple its social system.

The present situation proves that physical counteraction, not words, should be taken to settle accounts with the U.S. which regards jungle law as the rule of its survival. The situation also shows the iron truth that one's sovereignty should be protected by one's own efforts.

Hostile forces should clearly know that they can not estimate the might of the DPRK, dignified with independence and ever-victorious with Songun, with the Western view on value or the imperialists' way of calculation.

The army and people of the DPRK do not make an empty word. The world will be made to clearly see how the Koreans, who are convinced of the justness of their cause, punish hostile forces of all stripes and emerge as a final victor in their just path for defending sovereignty.
