Alejandro Cao de Benos, chairman of the Korean Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee decided to open a special website and carry photos and works of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star.

The branches of the association in Spain and other countries decided to organize colorful events.
