Day of Shining Star to Be Observed in Peru

| Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- A Peruvian committee for celebrating the 71st birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Lima on January 23. Tani Baler Lopera, international secretary of the Communist Party of Peru "Red Motherland", was elected chairperson of the committee. The committee decided to organize diverse political and cultural events on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
