Kim Jong Un's Resolve Hailed by DPRK People
Pyongyang, January 30 (KCNA) -- The dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un expressed his firm resolve to take substantial and high-profile important state measures in view of the prevailing situation at a recent consultative meeting of officials in the fields of state security and foreign affairs.

Encouraged by the resolve, the servicepersons and civilians of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea are ready to show the mettle of Songun (military-first) Korea to the United States and its followers.

Paek Kwang Ryong, a soldier of the Korean People's Army, told KCNA:

"The UN Security Council 'resolution' adopted against the DPRK over its satellite launch has evoked surging indignation among soldiers who are taking part in the reconstruction of the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum.

We feel refreshed to hear that Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un expressed his firm resolve to take important state measures for defending the sovereignty and dignity of the nation.

Marshal Kim Jong Un is now satisfying the Korean people's grudge against the U.S. imperialists, who have violated the nation's sovereignty through centuries.

I will not hesitate to dedicate my life to the fight against the U.S. imperialists and for national reunification."

Kang Hak, a Pyongyang citizen, said:

"The nation's sovereignty is more precious than my life.

It is high time that we showed the inexhaustible strength of Songun Korea to the U.S. imperialists. Words do not go on them.

It is undoubted that the DPRK will emerge victorious in the showdown with the U.S. and its followers."

Kwon Un Sil, a saleswoman at a soft drink stand in Pyongyang, said:

"All people were excited to read the newspaper carrying photo-illustrated news about a consultative meeting of officials in the fields of state security and foreign affairs guided by respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The U.S. imperialists are trouble-makers and wreckers of our peace. We can no longer allow such situation to persist. A sledgehammer should be dealt to them."
