Day of Sun and Day of Shining Star to Be Commemorated in Thailand

| Pyongyang, January 30 (KCNA) -- The Thai preparatory committee for commemorating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun) and the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed on Jan. 22. Songchit Pullarp, chairman of the Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Thailand, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize colorful politico-cultural events on the occasion of the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star. |
