The work, published on Jan. 29, Juche 92 (2003), comprehensively systematizes and reflects the idea and theory of the Songun revolutionary leadership, the Songun politics based on the analysis of achievements and precious experience made in the revolution and construction under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea.

In the middle of the 1990s when the Korean revolution faced a rigorous hardship Kim Jong Il enforced the Songun politics in all fields and published many works, clearly indicating the way of victory in accomplishing the Songun revolutionary cause.

The work "Let Us Thoroughly Implement the Line of Economic Construction in the Era of Songun Laid Down by the Party" indicates the line of giving priority to developing defence industry and simultaneously developing light industry and agriculture as required by the Songun era.

Some works reflect the steadfast will of the party to build a thriving socialist nation full of confidence of certain victory under the banner of the Juche idea, the Songun idea, the traits and work style to be displayed by the leading officials of the revolution, the party's idea of giving importance to the youth, the mission and duty of working people's organizations and the issue of bringing into full bloom the Songun culture created by the People's Army in whole society.

"The Democratic People's Republic of Korea Is a Socialist State of Juche with Invincible Might" clarifies the popular and independent character of the DPRK, which embodies the Juche idea in the building and activities of the state, and the idea and theories of firmly adhering to the Juche-oriented principle, the principle of national independence in the revolution and construction under the uplifted banner of Songun.
