Kim in the message said the AU's initiatives and efforts to strengthen the unity and solidarity among the countries on the continent in view of outside forces' domination and interference in their internal affairs and achieve regional peace, stability and socio-economic progress by their own efforts have elicited active support and sympathy from the Koreans and other world progressives.

He reaffirmed the invariable stand of the DPRK to further expand and develop the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation with the AU and its member nations onto a new high stage and wished the assembly greater success in promoting Africa's rehabilitation, sustainable development and common prosperity.
