The commentary said:

The UN Security Council adopted a U.S.-backed "resolution on sanctions" over the north's satellite launch on Jan. 22.

This is a wanton violation of the Space Treaty which considers the use of space for peaceful purpose as the right of sovereign states.

Various countries including permanent members of the UNSC launched satellites by the ballistic missile technology. But no country has been slapped with sanctions for this reason.

The commentary strongly denounced various countries including the U.S. and the UNSC for their unilateral stand of accusing the north of the satellite launch and putting sanctions on it.

The commentary noted:

The U.S. is clinging to sanctions against the north, guided by its own one-sided and self-willed standard. This goes to clearly prove that it has no intention to repeal the hostile policy.

The UNSC's persistent racket of "sanctions" against the north will result in further escalating the situation.
