Day of Shining Star to Be Commemorated in Switzerland

| Pyongyang, January 26 (KCNA) -- A Swiss preparatory committee for commemorating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated in Basel on Jan. 19. Martin Lotscher, chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to post on its website Kim Jong Il's works and articles praising his exploits and organize diverse events including meeting, seminar and film show in the period from Jan. 20 to Feb. 17. |
