S. Korean Regime Accused of Attempt at Biased Settlement of Personnel Affair
Pyongyang, January 22 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers' Corps held a press conference in Seoul on Jan. 17 denouncing the "government" authorities for their attempt at a biased solution to a personnel affair.

At the press conference speakers accused the authorities of trying to appoint Ri Tong Hup as chief justice of the Constitutional Court.

At the trial calling into question the irresponsibility of the authorities who remained a passive onlooker to a solution to the issue related to sexual slavery for the imperial Japanese army in 2011, Ri called for turning down the case, insisting that it is impossible to force anything on the regime for the mere reason that it was urgently demanded by people, they noted. He also opposed the decision of the Constitutional Court that it is unconstitutional that the regime failed to make efforts for a solution to the above-said issue.

They exposed what he has done as a judge at the Constitutional Court including his opposition to a special law on confiscating properties of pro-Japanese elements in 2011.

Ri is not qualified to become chief justice of the Constitutional Court as he has disregarded the demand of the victims of the sexual slavery, they said.
