Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated in Benin

| Pyongyang, January 21 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee of the Socialist Party of Benin to mark the 71st birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated with due ceremony in Cotonou on Jan. 15. Ali Houdou, president of the party, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. It decided to conduct colorful activities to praise the undying feats of Kim Jong Il and give wide publicity to them on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
