Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated in UK

| Pyongyang, January 18 (KCNA) -- A British preparatory committee for marking the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated in London on Jan. 12. Andy Brooks, general secretary of the C.C., the New Communist Party of Britain, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold diverse political and cultural events like seminar, film show and photo exhibition in the period from Jan. 20 to Feb. 20. |
