They sent at least 1 500 tons of compost to different co-op farms in a short span of time to assist agriculture, one of major fronts for economic construction this year.

Officials of different units including the Ministry of Forestry, Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports, Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League and Mansudae Art Studio helped agricultural workers in the Wonro Vegetable Farm in Mangyongdae District in making preparations for this year's farming.

Officials of several units including the State Planning Commission, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Land and Marine Transport and the Central Committee of the Democratic Women's Union of Korea unloaded compost and carried it to fields at the Rihyon Vegetable Co-op Farm in Sadong District.

Officials in those units including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Agriculture and the Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House worked on fields of the Ryuhyon Vegetable Co-op Farm in Ryokpho District.
