Abolition of Fascist Law and Release of Prisoners of Conscience Demanded in S. Korea
Pyongyang, January 11 (KCNA) -- The Family Movement for Realizing Democracy in south Korea held a Thursday meeting in Seoul on Jan. 3 at which it demanded the repeal of the "Security Law."

At the meeting speakers accused the "government" of still keeping the SL, a copy of the "Maintenance of the Public Order Act" enforced by the Japanese imperialists.

The authorities have recently intensified the suppression of progressive forces such as searching and investigating members of the People for Achieving Peace and Reunification, elders for national reunification and members of the reunification movement organizations, they charged.

They vowed to intensify the actions for having the SL, the law against the nation, reunification, democracy and human rights, abolished and prisoners of conscience released.
