The Communist Party of Chile (Proletarian Action) said in a statement on Jan. 1 hailed the New Year Address made by Kim Jong Un, noting that the address serves as a banner encouraging the Korean people and all other revolutionary people of the world in their struggle for sovereignty and socialism and a guiding principle for them.

The year 2013 will be a year of fresh victories for the DPRK, the statement pointed out.

The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea stated on the same day:

Marshal Kim Jong Un clarified some issues such as removing inter-Korean confrontation, carrying out to the letter the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and independently achieving national reunification by concerted efforts of the Korean nation. These indicated a fair and aboveboard way of putting an end to Korea's division and achieving Korea's reunification.

We are sure that no matter what trials and difficulties lie in the way of national reunification, Korea will surely emerge a reunified and prosperous thriving country under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un.

The Workers' Party of Bangladesh and the Bangladesh National Socialist Party supported in a joint statement on Jan. 3 the efforts of the Workers' Party of Korea, the DPRK government and its people to effect a radical turn in building an economic giant and improving the people's standard of living with the same spirit and mettle as were displayed in conquering space and to build a reunified and prosperous thriving country without fail by concerted efforts of all Koreans.

The Peruvian Committee for Remembering Generalissimo Kim Jong Il on the same day carried a detailed gist of Kim Jong Un's New Year Address in a statement.

We positively support the New Year Address made by Kim Jong Un indicating the way for the Korean people and all other progressive people of the world to follow and extend solidarity to the Korean people in their cause of building an economic giant and achieving national reunification.
