Kim Jong Il, Peerlessly Great Man (20)
Pyongyang, January 4 (KCNA) -- Leader Kim Jong Il in his lifetime had put the interests of popular masses above anything else.

It was his view that revolution and socialism are all needed only to ensure the interests and wellbeing of the people. All of the policies shaped by him utterly represented the interests of the popular masses.

It was one winter day in 1998 when the leader visited a local factory. The factory's officials made an apology to the leader for the unfinished yearly quota. Instead of blaming them, he had a photo taken with them to give encouragement to them.

When the leader toured the Samsu Power Station under construction on March 3, 2006, he stressed that dwelling houses should be built before anything else for the inhabitants residing in the area possibly to be flooded due to the construction of the power station.

Whenever inspecting military units or visiting industrial establishments, he always showed care for the servicepersons and employees' life before anything else.

That is why the Korean people are now working great innovations to carry into practice his behests, holding him in high esteem as their eternal leader.
