Respects Paid to Kim Jong Suk by British Organization
Pyongyang, January 1 (KCNA) -- The British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association issued a statement on Dec. 24, 2012, the 95th birth anniversary of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk.

Born to a poor peasant family, Kim Jong Suk set out on the road of revolutionary struggle in her early years and joined the anti-Japanese armed struggle led by President Kim Il Sung, during which she rendered immortal services, the statement said, and went on:

She fought against the Japanese imperialists and the exploiting class and energetically worked for the women's emancipation.

Today the Korean women are being respected in society and enjoying the equal rights with men.

We pay highest respects to anti-Japanese war hero and great revolutionary Kim Jong Suk on her birth anniversary.
