Pyongyang Greets New Year with Fireworks
Pyongyang, January 1 (KCNA) -- Gorgeous fireworks were shot up in Pyongyang at 00:00 on January 1, 2013, brightly illumining the nocturnal sky of the capital.

Fireworks of various shapes and colors were displayed in the sky above Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il's Korea, working wonders and generating festive mood in all parts of the capital.

Dazzling fireworks that were shot up from places around Kim Il Sung Square presented fascinating and beautiful scenery in the surrounding areas.

A variety of altitude bullets of multiple colors went off and off, gorgeously decorating the sky.

Fireworks were also shot up at the plazas of the April 25 House of Culture, Pyongyang Indoor Stadium, Thongil Square and the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace.

The kaleidoscopic fireworks mesmerized the viewers including service personnel of the People's Army, people and youth and students.

Fireworks seemed to show that the harmonious whole in which the service personnel and the people are closely united around the great Songun brilliant commander is the greatest might of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il's Korea.
