Important Days of DPRK Marked Abroad
Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- Different events took place in foreign countries to mark the 21st anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's assumption of the supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army (KPA), the first anniversary of the dear respected Kim Jong Un's assumption of the supreme commandership of the KPA and the 95th birth anniversary of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk.

A lecture was given in Kyrgyzstan, seminar in Tajikistan and meetings in Democratic Congo, Sweden and Austria on Dec. 20 and 21.

A. Usupbayev, chairman of the Central Council of the People Unity-"Kyrgys El" Republican Political Party of Kyrgyzstan, said that Kim Jong Il clarified the principle of Songun that the army represents the party, state and people and paid primary attention to strengthening the KPA.

Kurbonzyon Mirzoyeva, member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Tajikistan, said that the KPA would always win victory in the struggle for defending socialism as long as it is under the tested leadership of Kim Jong Un.

Rohekele Andre, chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of Democratic Congo, said the DPRK has defended its sovereignty despite the ceaseless provocations of the imperialist allied forces thanks to the Songun revolutionary leadership provided by Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il with matchless will.

Christer Lundgren, chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, said the successful satellite launch in the DPRK is the fruition of the strategy for development of science and technology and improvement of people's living standard laid down by Kim Jong Il.

The chairman of the Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and the DPRK extended warm salute to Marshal Kim Jong Un who is successfully carrying forward the revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered by Generalissimo Kim Il Sung and developed by Kim Jong Il.
