At the rally speakers said that they felt it painful to think of the victims of the sexual slavery who died before wresting apology and reparation from the Japanese government.

They demanded the Japanese government abide by international law in a responsible manner, not abusing the rights of the victims any longer.

They urged the south Korean authorities to make positive efforts to pressurize Japan to honestly liquidate its past crimes.

They declared they would fight till the issue of sexual slavery is settled, reflecting the voices of world conscience critical of war-time sexual abuses.
