Japan's Move to Internationalize Tok Islet Issue under Fire
Pyongyang, December 26 (KCNA) -- The assembly of Shimane Prefecture, Japan recently adopted a written message calling on the Japanese government to separately refer the issue of Tok Islets to the International Court of Justice.

In this regard Minju Joson in a bylined commentary says on Wednesday:

The Japanese reactionaries remind one of a robber who, after plundering other's properties in open daylight, tries to get recognition by other people for his honesty.

The Tok Islet issue is not subject to the territorial dispute between Korea and Japan. Moreover, it is not one that needs to be discussed at the court.

The Japanese reactionaries' action reveals their concerns as for the unwarranted historical ground of their claim to the islets.

The Japanese reactionaries seek to build up the public opinion in their favor to create conditions for the territorial expansion.

But they should know that they made a miscalculation and selected a wrong target.

The islets are part of the inviolable territory of the Korean nation. Korea today is not such a weak nation as it used to be in the past when it writhed in agony as a stateless nation with its whole territory deprived by outsiders.

The Korean nation of tremendous might will never pardon anyone who dares provoke its self-esteem and dignity even a bit.

Japan is well advised to be well aware that it may lose its whole islands for coveting for the islets of other country.
