Kim Jong Il's Exploits Remembered in Foreign Countries
Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- Remembrance meetings were held in Russia, Congo and Mongolia between Dec. 10 and 13 to mark the first anniversary of demise of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Speakers including the chairperson of the Friendship Association with Foreign Countries of Khabarovsk Territory of Russia said that President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il devoted themselves to the happiness of the people and the prosperity of the country in their lifetime and paid a great attention to the development of the friendly relations between Russia and the DPRK.

The DPRK is shining thanks to the great exploits performed by the preceding leaders, they noted, adding: Through the satellite lift-off the DPRK demonstrated before the world that it has strong national power and tremendous potential enough to make dynamic progress.

The chairman of the War Veterans Committee of Moscow of Russia said that the feats performed by Kim Jong Il in the history of Songun revolution are shining more brilliantly thanks to the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, expressing conviction that the Korean people will surely build a thriving nation under his leadership.

The deputy general secretary of the Central Committee of the Congolese Party of Labor said that the idea and exploits of Kim Jong Il will last forever despite the flow of time.

The chairman of the Mongolia-Korea Friendship Society noted he witnessed at first hand the daily developing DPRK, adding it was a great exploit performed by Kim Jong Il that he augmented the might of the DPRK in every way.

The director of the Kim Jong Suk Kindergarten of Mongolia noted that Kim Jong Il showed great loving care and favor for Mongolian children in his lifetime, adding: We will convey the story about his love to posterity.

Messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the meetings.
