Portrait of Kim Jong Suk Displayed in Peru
Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- A portrait of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk was displayed with due event at Kim Jong Suk Library in Peru on Dec. 18 to mark her 95th birth anniversary.

Present at the event were the curator and staff members of the library, general secretary of the People's Front of Workers, Peasants and Students of Peru, chairman of the Peruvian Committee for Remembering Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, chairman of the Peruvian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, secretary general of the Peruvian-Korean Institute of Culture and Friendship, secretary general of the Peruvian Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea and the former organizational secretary of the Revolutionary Socialist Party of Peru.

The DPRK ambassador to Peru and his embassy officials were present there on invitation.

A portrait of Kim Jong Suk was displayed amid applause of the participants.

The participants laid a floral basket before her portrait and paid tribute to her.

Speakers at the event said that it is the great honor and joy to display her portrait on the occasion of her 95th birth anniversary, highly praising her feats performed before the country and revolution.

The idea and cause of the three commanders of Mt. Paektu are now being invariably carried forward by the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, great heir to the revolutionary cause of Juche, with steadfast will of Songun and tireless leadership, the speakers added.
