The lighting disguised as a "religious service" is an open challenge and an unpardonable provocation against the DPRK.

Much upset and put to shame by the DPRK's successful launch of satellite Kwangmyongsong 3-2, the puppet regime committed another provocation to retrieve its disgrace.

As already known, lighting the lamp is not just a simple religious service as it was spearheaded by the "Ministry of Defense."

The military warmongers openly announced two years ago that it would take measures to resume psychological warfare against the DPRK. As part of the campaign, they lighted the lamp atop of Aegibong, kicking off anti-DPRK smear campaign.

They set up targets insulting the social system and dignity of the DPRK and opened fire at them. It viciously resorted to the scattering of leaflets and smear broadcasting campaign which are tantamount to a war action, thereby stirring up confrontation hysteria.

Whenever they lighted the said lamp, the north-south relations festered and tensions increased on the Korean Peninsula.

It is for this reason that south Koreans from all walks of life denounced the regime's anti-DPRK psychological warfare as evidenced by the formation of the Kimpho measure committee against the scattering of anti-DPRK leaflets and lighting of a lamp atop Aegibong by Kimpho citizens and civic organizations.

The Lee Myung Bak regime, which is more dead than alive, deliberately strained the situation with the recent provocation in a bid to provide continuity to its confrontation policy by the next regime.

It is by no means fortuitous that the group of traitors raises a hue and cry with the mobilization of troops while calling for adopting an "alert posture" to cope with the "north's provocation" along with the anti-DPRK psychological warfare.

The psychological warfare conducted by the military warmongers in the tension-charged forefront areas is a dangerous act aimed to ignite a war against the DPRK.

No one can vouch what will happen in this tense area due to the enemies' provocative moves.

The Lee Myung Bak conservative regime will have to hold responsibilities for all the disasters and consequences to be entailed by its provocations.
