Kim Jong Il's Demise Anniversary Marked Abroad
Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- Events took place in various countries to mark the first anniversary of demise of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

They included a seminar on his feats and photo exhibition in Nepal, lecture in Tajikistan, joint seminar in Uganda and round-table talks, remembrance meetings, book and photo exhibitions and film shows in Russia, Iceland and Indonesia on December 10 and 11.

Remembrance meetings and film shows were held by the Pioneer Party of Indonesia and various companies in Indonesia on December 14.

Participants in those events laid floral baskets, bouquets and flowers before portraits of Kim Jong Il and his smiling portraits before paying tribute to him.

In the events personages of various countries praised him as the most outstanding and greatest man in the world.

The chairperson of the Communist Party of Tajikistan said that the untimely demise of Kim Jong Il was a big loss to the international working-class movement, referring to his feats in party building and Songun leadership feats.

At the joint seminar of the groups for the study of the Juche idea held at Kyambogo University of Uganda a reporter and speakers said Kim Jong Il is a prominent leader who led the DPRK to shine as an invincible politico-ideological and military power with his unique Songun politics.

The general secretary of the Iceland-DPRK Friendship and Cultural Society said Kim Jong Il was the most prominent and greatest man in the world and a genuine leader of the people who devoted his all to their happiness.

The general chairperson of the National Guidance Council of the Pioneer Party of Indonesia praised Kim Jong Il as a distinguished leader who turned the DPRK into an invincible politico-ideological and military power which no one dares provoke.
