Folk Art Show Opens in Pyongyang
Pyongyang, December 21 (KCNA) -- A folk art show was opened at the Pyongyang International House of Culture some days ago.

It showcases tens of thousands of folklore articles in over 1 000 kinds, including fine art works, porcelains and traditional musical instruments.

What catch the visitors' eyes among the exhibits are Koryo celadon, inlaid flower vases in particular, which have been famous in the world from olden times.

On display are also varieties of craftworks made of gem stone, stone, wood and metal, which represent high-level techniques.

Kim Tong Sop, a Pyongyang citizen, told KCNA:

"The exhibition hall is like a large-sized art work.

Each work has its own features. I want to have such things displayed in my home."
