Crystal-made Flower Basket, Gift to Kim Il Sung from Russia

Pyongyang, December 21 (KCNA) -- Among the exhibits at the International Friendship Exhibition House in the DPRK is a crystal-made flower basket, a gift presented to President Kim Il Sung by the Klon Institute of Russia, congratulating him on his 82nd birthday.

It is a long-standing custom of Russians to give or take floral baskets on holidays and birthdays.

The institute prepared the basket with utmost sincerity to show its employees' deep reverence for the President.

Presenting this gift, the general manager of the institute said their wishes for good health and happiness of Kim Il Sung were crystal-like.

With a semicircular grip attached to it, the basket has three blossoms in it. The basket's prop is inscribed with words "Gift to the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung on behalf of all employees of the Klon Institute. April 15, 1994. Moscow".
