Anniversary of Demise of Kim Jong Il Commemorated in Different Countries
Pyongyang, December 21 (KCNA) -- Personages of India, Brazil and a regional organization issued statements to commemorate the first anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

A secretary of the Central Committee of the All-India Forward Bloc in a statement on Dec. 15 paid highest tribute to Kim Jong Il who performed undying feats for the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence.

Kim Jong Il was a great leader who developed the immortal Juche idea and further strengthened the DPRK into an invincible socialist power by enforcing Songun politics, the secretary added.

Suneet Chopra, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) who is also secretary general of the All India Indo-Korean Friendship Association, in a statement issued on Dec. 14 highly praised the Songun leadership exploits of Kim Jong Il.

The chairman of the Brazilian Committee for Remembering Leader Kim Jong Il in a statement on December 11 noted that Kim Jong Il performed great exploits guaranteeing an eternal foundation of socialist Korea and its rosy future by devoting himself till the last moments of his life.

Lyne Sinyodyium, director of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, in a statement on the same day said thanks to the far-sighted Songun politics of Kim Jong Il the DPRK dynamically advanced along the road of Juche.

The Korean people are energetically accelerating the building of a thriving nation, holding high the banner of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the director stressed.
