National Landscape, Handicraft Exhibition Opens
Pyongyang, December 20 (KCNA) -- A national landscape and handicraft exhibition opened at the exhibition hall of the State Industrial Art Center Wednesday to celebrate the 95th birth anniversary of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk.

On display there is a picture depicting great Generalissimo Kim Jong Il visiting his birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp.

Exhibited there are more than 230 art pieces including Korean paintings, oil paintings, acryl paintings, embroideries and handicraft works.

Korean painting "Paektusan Secret Camp in Spring" and acryl painting "Protecting Safety of the Great Leader" truthfully portray the noble personality of the anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk who devoted her all to the safety of President Kim Il Sung in the course of covering the road of revolution under his leadership.

Among the works on display are Korean paintings "Ryongma Rock in Paektusan Secret Camp" and "Hoeryong in Spring" and oil paintings "Sobaeksu in Morning" and "Lagoon Samil Conjuring Up Deep Memories". They deal with the noble revolutionary life of Kim Jong Suk, woman commander of Mt. Paektu.
