First Anniversary of Demise of Kim Jong Il Marked Abroad
Pyongyang, December 20 (KCNA) -- Personages of different social standings in Russia, Nigeria and Peru visited DPRK missions in their countries in the period from Dec. 10 to 13 on the occasion of the first anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

Figures of different social standings in those countries laid floral baskets and bouquets before full-length paintings of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and their smiling portraits before paying tribute to them.

Among them were figures of the Russian Nakhodka City Committee to remember leader Kim Jong Il, Nakhodka City Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, chairman of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, international secretary of the Communist Party of Peru "Red Motherland", former organizational secretary of the Revolutionary Socialist Party of Peru, chairperson of the Peruvian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, chairperson and secretary general of the Peruvian committee to remember Kim Jong Il, chairman of the Peruvian Association for the Study of Revolutionary Activities of Comrade Kim Jong Suk, curator of the Kim Jong Suk Library of Peru, chairman of the Peru-Korea Friendship Institute for Study of the Juche Based Songun Policy and the secretary general of the Peruvian-Korean Institute of Culture and Friendship.

The chairman of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea said that Kim Jong Il made an immortal contribution to the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence under the uplifted banner of Juche, the banner of Songun.

The international secretary of the Communist Party of Peru "Red Motherland" paid highest tribute to Kim Jong Il, prominent leader of the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence, on the first anniversary of his demise. Kim Jong Il together with Kim Il Sung is always alive in the hearts of mankind, he added.

The chairperson of the Peruvian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism expressed the will to make positive efforts to more deeply study Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the unshakable guidelines for accomplishing the cause of global independence, and widely disseminate it among the Peruvian people.

The secretary general of the Peruvian-Korean Institute of Culture and Friendship said: I keenly realized once again that the Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il are always alive in the hearts of the Korean people while staying in the DPRK in April last.

I am convinced that the DPRK has a rosy future as it is led by the dear respected Kim Jong Un.
