Lots of Weavers Fulfill Yearly Quota
Pyongyang, December 18 (KCNA) -- The Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill has made long strides in modernization of the mill as well as in production.

In this regard KCNA met Ri Kwang Myong, chief engineer of the mill.

He said:

"It was in May last year that leader Kim Jong Il visited the mill to learn about the newly-built Tetron rayon fabrics shop.

Looking at varieties of Tetron spun rayon cloth one by one, he spoke highly of their qualities and urged us to produce in large quantities various kinds of cloth liked by people.

Determined to carry into practice the behests of Kim Jong Il, the mill has sped up its modernization while steadily increasing cloth production.

The mill finished computerization of all its production processes. Its dyeing workshop updated its processes and the Tetron rayon fabrics workshop sharply increased the production.

The ardent yearning for Kim Jong Il has made the weavers boost production.

290 weavers have already fulfilled their yearly quota, 30 their two-year quota and 10 their three-year quota at the mill.
