Present there were the family of Zhang Weihua, a Chinese anti-Japanese revolutionary martyr, families of China-resident Korean anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters So Sun Ok and Li Zade, families of Zhou Wei, daughter of Zhou Baozhong, and Chen Lei, families of Chai Shiying and Hu Zhenyi, Chinese related to anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, a family of Kim Sun Ok, Korean related to anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle in China, Korean in Russia Jong Il Sim and Son Won Thae, overseas Korean related to revolutionary activities of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Kim Ki Nam, secretary of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, in his speech at the reception said that Kim Jong Il showed profound loving care to all of the families of those overseas related to Kim Il Sung's revolutionary activities, personifying the love shown by the President for them.

The relations between the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and them are given steady continuity thanks to Kim Jong Un, he stressed.

Korean in Russia Jong Il Sim said that the reception made her yearn for Kim Jong Il and express gratitude to Marshal Kim Jong Un, renewing her will to dedicate herself to the building of a thriving socialist nation and the accomplishment of the cause of national reunification.

Zhang Weihua's daughter Zhang Jinlu said that Kim Jong Il took warm care of their life, carrying forward the intention of Kim Il Sung.

"Though Kim Jong Il passed away, his sense of moral obligation is cherished in our hearts," she added.

Zhou Baozhong's daughter Zhou Wei recollected with deep emotion the time when she had the honor of being received by Kim Jong Il, recalling that he paid deep attention to their work and life.

She stressed that Kim Jong Il will be immortal in the hearts of not only the Korean people but the Chinese people as he performed big exploits for the development of the Sino-DPRK friendly relations.
