Lee Myung Bak, "Saenuri Party" Accused of Bedeviling Inter-Korean Relations
Pyongyang, December 18 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Tuesday in a bylined article blasts traitor Lee Myung Bak and "the Saenuri Party" of south Korea for having committed such hideous crime as bringing the north-south relations to a collapse during the five years of their office.

Lee in collusion with "the Saenuri Party" advocated "no nukes, opening and 3 000 dollars" as their "north policy," pursuing a policy of confrontation with the DPRK, the worst in history, the article says, and goes on:

They scuttled the tour of Mt. Kumgang in a bid to scrap the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, break the compatriots' will for national reunification and derail the north-south cooperation.

Vociferating about the non-existent "human rights" issue of the north, the conservative group has run amuck in the moves for the confrontation of the social systems designed to bring down the ideology and system in the DPRK and achieve "unification under liberal democracy."

The Lee group dared to hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK which the preceding ruling quarters of south Korea had never attempted. Its reckless smear campaign reached such phase as perpetrating politically motivated terrorism.

The Lee group zealously pursued moves to tighten the war alliance with the U.S. in a sinister effort to hurt compatriots with arms, escalating the arms race on the Korean Peninsula and in its vicinity and increasing the danger of a war there.

The south Korean warmongers fabricated the warship "Cheonan" sinking case and the Yonphyong Island shelling incident, kicking up confrontation hysteria and openly advocating an adventurous theory of preemptive attack on the north.

In order to improve the north-south relations and give continuity to the trend of the June 15 era of reunification the people of south Korea should prevent such traitor as Lee Myung Bak from staying in power.
