Minju Joson Accuses U.S. of Expanding Spy Networks Overseas
Pyongyang, December 18 (KCNA) -- The U.S. is mulling drastically increasing the number of agents of the Defense Intelligence Agency of the Department of Defense overseas to 1 600 from 500 at present in five years to come, according to recent foreign press reports.

Their mission will reportedly be to gather military information under the disguise of businessmen, diplomats, etc, in several countries including the DPRK and China.

Minju Joson on Tuesday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:

This tells that the U.S. is putting overriding importance on its policy of military intervention and confrontation with other countries in carrying out its strategy for world domination.

It is the scenario of the U.S. to build spy networks enough to make rapid reaction to military situations including a war and efficiently carry out its military aggression, intervention and control against other countries.

In the final analysis, the U.S. increase of military intelligence agents overseas is a curtain-raiser to its military aggression against other countries.

This is a wanton infringement on other independent countries' sovereignty and security and reckless military provocation threatening the world peace and stability.

The DPRK will never allow the U.S. to spy on its military secrets and ignite a war of aggression under any circumstances.

The U.S. would be well advised to halt at once its rash operations to achieve its black-hearted scenario through sordid espionage and conspiratorial plots.
