Schoolchildren Interested in Space Science in DPRK
Pyongyang, December 15 (KCNA) -- With the successful launch of satellite Kwangmyongsong-3, schoolchildren in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea are getting interested in knowledge about satellite and space.

In this regard, KCNA met Ri Myong Sim, a teacher at Pyongyang Kangan Primary School.

She said:

"All teachers of my school gave explanations of the satellite to their pupils as much as they could.

Being still young, pupils express their admiration at the nation's dignity and strength.

I will prepare my pupils to be those responsible for the future of the satellite manufacturing and launching state."

Jong Myong Chol, a physical teacher at Moranbong Secondary School No.1, said:

"As requested by the students, I gave an extra class on space science in after-school time.

They made a wave of questions about the satellite launch. But I could not answer all of them.

So I promised them to let them know it later. I'll redouble my efforts to bring them up to be masters of a space manufacturing and launching state."
