Any Country Has Right to Use Outer Space: Pyongyang Citizens
Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea successfully launched the second version of satellite Kwangmyongsong-3 on Wednesday.

However, some countries have criticized it as a "violation of UN resolutions" or a test launch of long-range missile.

In this regard, KCNA had interviews with citizens in Pyongyang.

Kim Jung Song, 36, a citizen living in Central District said:

"As recognized by international law, the right to use the outer space for peaceful purpose rests with any country.

Not a few countries have made sustained efforts to conquer the space like the DPRK.

But some countries persistently term the DPRK's satellite launch a 'long-range missile' launch. Such hostile act will only escalate confrontation and render the situation acute."

Jong Min, 55, another citizen living in Moranbong District, said:

"Those countries calling the DPRK's satellite launch a 'violation of UN resolutions' have already launched a number of satellites.

An attempt to deter other country's development will be of no help to anyone. It is necessary to see all issues from the peaceful point of view and in a fair way."
