Committees for Remembering Kim Jong Il Formed Abroad
Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- Committees for remembering leader Kim Jong Il were formed in foreign countries and regions.

The committees have been formed in at least 60 countries and regions including Nepal, Mongolia, India, Iran, Tajikistan, UK, France, Italy, Denmark, Switzerland, Nigeria, South Africa, Democratic Congo, Uganda, Brazil, Ecuador and Mexico since the appearance of the committee in Peru on October 17.

In Russia committees for remembering him were organized in Nakhodka, Khabarovsk Territory and Blagobeshensk as well as Moscow.

The committees for cherishing the memory of the peerlessly great man were also formed in regional and international organizations. They include the African Regional Committee of Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People and the Korean Friendship Association.

Deep reverence for him pervaded the venues of inaugural ceremonies which were significantly held in the presence of prominent figures of governments, political parties and organizations and representatives of regional and international organizations.

Diverse events for remembering him are being held around the world like seminar on his feats, remembrance meeting, lecture, photo and book exhibition and film show sponsored by the committees organized in those countries.
