Judgment of S. Korean Conservative Regime Urged
Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- The People's Strength for Building New World of south Korea made up of at least 40 civic and social organizations held a rally at the plaza of the Seoul City Office on December 8 to call for judging the conservative regime.

Present there were more than 3 000 people of various circles including workers, farmers, the poor and evacuees.

Speakers at the rally said that they cannot repress anger at the moves geared for winning in the upcoming "presidential" election which are totally indifferent to the people's living.

The candidates for the "presidential election" are calling for economic democratization, etc. but the rhetoric about the workers' prosperity is just nonsensical if there is no resolution of the lay-off and part-time job system, they charged.

They referred to the fact that the workers suffering from the lay-off and part-time job, residents in Kangjong village, Jeju Island, those who were forced to evacuate due to redevelopment and others waged sit-in strike.

Stressing the need to change the world by the united struggle of the people of various circles, they called for defeating the "Saenuri Party" and bringing about a new world of the people through the replacement of the regime.

They declared that they would struggle for implementing the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, ensuring the provision of regular jobs to the part-time workers, totally remodifying the "labor law", checking the privatization of the public sectors, getting the registration fee halved, stopping the creation of the north wind, breaking down military alliance with the U.S. and Japan and abolishing the "Security Law".
