DPRK's Successful Satellite Launch Hailed
Pyongyang, December 13 (KCNA) -- Jo Il Min, chief of the Pyongyang Mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front (AINDF), was interviewed by KCNA on Thursday as regards the successful launch of the second version of satellite Kwangmyongsong-3.

Warmly congratulating the DPRK on its successful satellite launch reflecting the unanimous feelings of the AINDF vanguard fighters and patriotic people, Jo said:

Scientists and technicians in the north launched a satellite with their own efforts and technique and succeeded in accurately putting it into its planned orbit.

The satellite launch made the world know better about the high level of the DPRK's scientific and technological development.

The successful launch of the satellite marks a historic event as it demonstrated the nation's wisdom and stamina before the whole world. The successful satellite launch which demonstrated the general national power of the DPRK and put the technology for using space for peaceful purposes onto a new high stage is making immense joy and excitement prevail throughout the land of Korea.

Heard from streets, towns, fishing and farm villages and universities in the south are voices that the successful launch of the satellite will constitute a precious boon to the space conquest in a reunified country.

We extend highest glory and warmest gratitude to the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un who has brought Koreans such an auspicious event.

At a time when all Koreans are pleased with the successful satellite launch, the conservative group of south Korea is running helter-skelter, upset by this.

The launch of satellite is not only a legitimate sovereign right of the DPRK but an exercise of sovereignty in line with the space treaty which stipulates the use of space for peaceful purposes as a right of all countries.

Nevertheless, the authorities in the south are getting more frantic in their moves to ratchet up sanctions against the DPRK in collusion with outside forces, taking issue with the launch of satellite.

The group of traitors is not properly distinguishing satellite from long-range ballistic missile.

It is necessary to eliminate hordes of traitors, to begin with, in order to develop the nation's space science and technology faster.

The world will watch in a number of satellites of the DPRK orbiting in outer space how it will emerge victorious in its just struggle to protect sovereignty.
