The world progressive people, together with the heroic Korean people, are solemnly marking the first demise anniversary of Kim Jong Il, sun of Songun in the 21st century, with ardent yearning and boundless reverence for him, he said, adding;

Picturing to themselves the noble image of Kim Jong Il who led the Korean revolution and world revolution along the road of victory, his face always beaming with a broad smile, the world progressives are recollecting with deep emotion the exploits he performed before the era and history.

He, who successfully carried forward the revolutionary cause of President Kim Il Sung, brought about a single-minded unity of the party, army and people based on the Juche idea and developed the DPRK into a powerful socialist state, independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in national defence.

Thanks to the independent politics and Songun politics pursued by Kim Jong Il, the Korean people became the most dignified people in the world and socialist Korea proudly ranked itself among satellite producers and launchers and nuclear weapons states.

The world progressive people see an ideal society for humankind in the DPRK and are deeply touched by the ideological and theoretical profundity, vitality and advantages of the Juche idea.

The socialist cause in the DPRK is now being successfully carried forward by Marshal Kim Jong Un, another outstanding leader.
