Foreign Public Figures Dedicate Poems and Songs to Kim Jong Il
Pyongyang, December 11 (KCNA) -- Foreign figures dedicated poems and songs to general secretary Kim Jong Il.

Russian writer Lyudmila Abzeyeva in a poem "In Memory of the Great Comrade Kim Jong Il" praised him as a leader who dedicated his whole life to the people and symbol of peace, justice and freedom.

At the moment of unforgettable funeral service gun volley shook the earth and sky and all people bitterly wailed, the poem said, and went on:

But the DPRK was not disheartened. Its people are trusting and following the dear respected Kim Jong Un, the youngest leader on our planet and entrusting their destiny and future to him.

Alejandro Cao de Benos, chairman of the Korean Friendship Association, in a poem "Our Great Family" lauded Kim Jong Il as the sun of humankind.

It said:

At the news of passing of Kim Jong Il even the frozen Lake Chon on Mt. Paektu broke with loud sound and birds flew close, their heads drooping over his demise.

But the DPRK rose above grief.

The great family of the DPRK will remain strong as it is always inspired by the great men.

Noboru Kameda, representative of the Society of the Japan-Korea Culture, in words of a song "Broad Simile" noted that Kim Jong Il represents the destiny of Korea.

Being a guardian of Korea, Kim Jong Il is always alive in the hearts of the people, he stressed.
