Yearning for Kim Jong Il Runs Higher in DPRK
Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) -- The Korean people's yearning for leader Kim Jong Il is growing deeper with the 1st anniversary of his demise approaching.

Many servicepersons and civilians visit the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill and mosaics portraying the smiling leader, erected throughout the country, to pay tribute to him.

Leader Kim Jong Il was the tender-hearted father and teacher to all of the Korean people as he cared so much for their livelihood. He was also a source of strength for them.

That is why the people considered it to be a greatest honor to meet him in his lifetime.

The image of Kim Jong Il with a bright smile on his face will remain in their hearts forever.
