U.S. Farce to Cover Up Its True Colors as Provoker of Korean War Slammed
Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the U.S. Senate passed through its session a "resolution" in which it set the next year as the "year of brave soldiers' entry into the Korean war". The resolution said that more than 36,000 U.S. troops were killed and more than 100,000 wounded in the Korean war, the war should not be recalled as a "forgotten war" and soldiers who participated in the war should be praised.

Rodong Sinmun Monday says in a bylined commentary in this regard:

This is the political farce that the U.S. described as "brave fighters" those who suffered disgrace after being taken to other country, and put forward them as target of respect and appraisal.

It is a revelation of sinister and impudent intention of the U.S. imperialists to cover up their true colors as provokers of the war, invent a pretext for permanently staying in south Korea and ignite a war again in Korea.

The U.S. warmongers' assertion about the "year of brave soldiers' entry into the Korean war" is aimed to retrieve the defeat they suffered in the Korean war.

It is also aimed to incite the hostile feelings toward DPRK in the country and hurl young and middle-aged people as a shock brigade in igniting the war against the DPRK.

The resolution serves the sinister purpose of terming the DPRK a "criminal" who ignited the war and building up international opinion and conditions for mobilizing multinational armed forces in the second Korean war for aggression as they did in Iraqi and Afghan wars.

In case another war breaks out in Korea, the U.S. will get nothing but the bitter defeat and death incomparable with what it suffered from the past Korean war.
