Kim Jong Il's Noble Personality (5)
Pyongyang, December 7 (KCNA) -- One day in Juche 85 (1996) Nikolai Ryashenko, a general officer of the Soviet Union, was surprised to see the birthday spread arranged at the DPRK embassy in Moscow in celebration of his 85th birthday.

There he was told that leader Kim Jong Il suggested sending the spread to him so that he would not feel loneliness on his birthday and making him take medical treatment and enjoyable days in the DPRK.

At that time, he recalled the days when he was working as a Soviet Army officer in Korea after its liberation from the Japanese colonial rule. In those days President Kim Il Sung personally sent a shoemaker to him for his shoes and young Kim Jong Il always welcomed him whenever he visited the President's house.

Nikolai Ryashenko said to the embassy officials that Kim Jong Il was the incarnation of human love.

With his boundless reverence for the leader, he authored book "Great Person Kim Jong Il".
