Resignation of Corrupt Prosecutors Demanded in S. Korea
Pyongyang, December 5 (KCNA) -- More than 90 civic and public organizations of south Korea including the Citizen's Solidarity for Democratic Society held a press conference in Seoul on Dec. 3, demanding corrupt prosecutors step down, according to KBS of south Korea.

A series of recent prosecutors' scandals go to prove that it is impossible to expect any improvement in their wrong behavior as long as they are allowed to go on with their misconduct, the organizations said, demanding the public prosecutor general, the public prosecutor of the Central Investigation of the Supreme Prosecutor's Office, the chief of the Seoul District Prosecutor's Office and other prosecutors concerned step down.

They urged Lee Myung Bak to make an open apology to the people for the recent disclosure of prosecutors' scandals.
