A similar committee was inaugurated at the building of the Secretariat of the Pan-African Movement on Nov. 28.

Chairmen of the remembrance committees were elected. They were Riyad Chaloub, secretary general of the Ministry of Culture and Heritage of Guinea who is chairman of the Guinean National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, S. N. Sserwanga, secretary general of the African Regional Committee of Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People, and Osieno Stephen, executive advisor to the general secretary of the Pan-African Movement.

The remembrance committees decided to hold various events praising undying exploits of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the first anniversary of his demise.
