The main building of the museum will cover tens of thousands of square meters. Open-air exhibition sites will be newly built to suit to the group sculptures of the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Memorial Tower, and there will appear a bridge and access corridor. The museum is a huge edifice of monumental value.

The dear respected Kim Jong Un opened up a grand blueprint to build the museum as required by the Songun era and gave detailed instructions to solve the problems in setting its location, construction, supply of materials, etc.

From the very beginning the soldier-builders have fully displayed the work-style and spirit of the Korean People's Army.

They introduced reasonable methods of construction to remove the earth of more than 50 000 cubic meters, finished the digging for foundation in a few days and completed ground concrete tamping in at least 20 days.

Construction processes were organized well and the builders gave precedence to embedding reinforcing bars and shuttering and proceeded to continuous concrete tamping with the help of pressure pipeline of mixture. The increased proportion of mechanization helped hasten the construction.

They have over-fulfilled daily tasks with devoted efforts.

After finishing the project of structure construction, the solder-builders moved to the next stage project for open-air exhibition sites, bridge, access corridor and others.
