New Kinds of Saunas Appear in Pyongyang
Pyongyang, November 30 (KCNA) -- The Ryugyong Health Complex here which opened some time ago, boasts of new kinds of saunas.

They include pine tree, salt and stalactite saunas. Their temperatures are lower than others, standing at around 50 degrees Celsius.

The sauna room, with its floor and walls decorated with pine trees, helps enhance lung functioning and is highly effective for treatment of bronchial asthma and rheumatic arthritis.

The salt sauna makes salt emanate far infrared rays. Good for recovery from fatigue, it promotes curing circulatory and nervous diseases.

The stalactite sauna helps better kidney and liver functioning.

A Pyongyang citizen, Ho In Nam, told KCNA that he felt quite refreshed after taking a bath at the Ryugyong Health Complex.

Newly reconstructed Bath House No. 1, too, is furnished with similar saunas.
