Japan Can Never Evade Its Past Crimes: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, November 28 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the Japanese authorities let loose a spate of outbursts one after another that there is lack of facts and evidence related to the issue of sexual slavery committed by the Imperial Japanese Army and that they hope for the presentation of more evidence, if any.

The Japanese authorities are working hard to deny and justify the past crimes, a clear proof that they still harbor the idea of committing such crimes again.

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says in a bylined commentary in this regard:

Japan's settlement of its past crimes is the state responsibility and political and moral duty that can not be evaded in the light of international law and from the ethical and moral viewpoints.

Several countries which committed war crimes in the past expressed deep apology and repentance for their wrongdoings several times after the war and have taken phased steps to make reparation for the victimized countries and individual victims.

This being a hard fact, only Japan has refused to admit the historical facts of aggression and crimes until today though more than half a century has passed since the defeat of the Japanese imperialists.

The Japanese militarists' wrong attitude reflects their criminal scenario to inflict the horrible holocaust of a war on humankind.

The Japanese authorities should lend an ear to the international voices of protest and denunciation.

If they continue to resort to vicious and impudent moves and mock at the international community, they will meet greater international rebuff and criticism.
