Pyongyang, November 28 (KCNA) -- Dermot Hudson, chairman of the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, posted an article reflecting people's minds yearning for leader Kim Jong Il on an Internet homepage on November 20.

He said in his article that he witnessed the Korean people's earnest yearnings for Kim Jong Il becoming stronger day by day when he visited the DPRK in April and September this year.

He said the dear respected Kim Jong Un made sure that Kim Jong Il was held in high esteem as eternal general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK.

Thanks to the sublime moral obligation of Kim Jong Un and the boundless reverence of the Korean people, the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il were erected on Mansu Hill, he noted.

He put a question why Kim Jong Il is enjoying such boundless reverence from the Korean people.

Answering the question the article continued:

First, leader Kim Jong Il unswervingly defended and adhered to the idea and cause of President Kim Il Sung with boundless loyalty to him and victoriously advanced the revolutionary cause of Juche true to the behests of the President.

Second, he was a genuine leader of the people who shared joy and sorrow with them, always wearing a simple jumper.

Third, he firmly protected the dignity and sovereignty of the country and nation and the people's creative life with his invincible Songun politics and Songun revolutionary leadership.

Fourth, he comprehensively systematized the Juche idea with his outstanding ideological and theoretical activities and developing it into the great guiding idea in the era of independence.

Therefore, the Korean people are ardently revering and yearning for him, the article said, calling on all the followers of the Juche idea and Songun idea in the world to pay deep respects to him together with the Korean people on the occasion of the first anniversary of his demise.
